The 760 Studio [pronounced seven six oh] is located in Carlsbad, CA (in the 760 area code.) The "studio" (aka my garage) is a place for me to explore my creative outlets.  Currently the website features my upcycled furniture and my handmade boho style jewelry.
In the studio, I take used furniture and upcycle it into something gorgeous enough for your home. My pieces include paint, stain, and color washing techniques. I pride myself on finding unique furniture and color kissing them with rich and layered finishes. Refinishing unloved furniture into something new again was a natural progression. There's such a pride of accomplishment when you've turned something no one wanted into something beautiful. I'm so excited to pursue this new venture.

On the blog I show you before and after photos and walk you through the process of how I turned used furniture finds into something fabulous.
I love the look of organic jewelry. My designs incorporate a mix of gemstones, such as turquoise, labradorite, citrine, quartz and many more. Everything is made with sterling silver or 14kt gold filled, offering you a lifetime of usage. The materials for my jewelry are hand-selected at gem fairs and trade shows from importers from around the world. Most pieces have a limited quantity, if not a unique design as a one-of-a-kind. If you're interested in purchasing a piece or featuring my jewelry in your boutique, please email me for availability as we have limited inventory.
Hi! I'm Dana Elmendorf, the artisan for the 760 Studio. Throughout my whole life I've been creative. From painting t-shirts for a local beauty shop when I was a teen with puff paints (Remember puff paints?!) to lampwork artist (torch work for making glass beads) to jewelry designer to author and now to flipping furniture. (And that's just the short list.)

For me, being creative is in my blood. I love design, whether it be making jewelry, digital graphics, writing, or painting furniture. There are no limits to the various art mediums I'm ready to explore. So stay tuned because you never know when I might add another art medium to my portfolio.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out the studio. If you'd like to learn more about who I am as an author, go to danaelmendorf.com.
